Driving in Gothenburg
Trams frequently have right of way and must not be obstructed. Learn the rules for tram stops without a refuge island, where you must stop and let passengers board and alight. Many junctions and roundabouts require early lane selection.
Heavy Traffic and Wind
Around the port and on the motorways you will encounter many lorries. Keep your distance, watch out for blind spots and bear in mind that strong winds across the bridges can affect your vehicle.
